Start recording in a minute

ClickRoutine is easiest when users know exactly what to look for the first time. This guide keeps the essentials up front and the deeper features just below.

Pin ClickRoutine in Chrome

After install, pin the extension so it stays visible in your toolbar and is always one click away.

Click the + button

Open ClickRoutine, click the plus button in the top-right corner, give the automation a name, set a start URL, and click Start Recording.

If you need more customization, Advanced Options are available to set retry behavior, end dates, window size, jitter, screenshots, and other playback details.

Record, Save, and Run

Do the steps you want automated in your browser, then Stop the recording when you're ready to save it. Once saved, your automation appears as a card. You can run it right away or wait for it to run on its set schedule.

Edit anything

On each automation card, the step count is clickable. That opens the editor where you can inspect, reorder, update, and fine-tune the recorded routine. You can also click the settings ⚙ on the automation card to change any of the settings chosen during setup.
